When Exercising

A fit figure announces to all and sundry that this is a healthy body. A fit body is always raring to go because it is full of health and stamina which propels you forward with energy which seems inexhaustible. The easiest way to get such a body is exercise. There are plenty of fad diets which promise the earth but nothing really helps except right diet and exercise. Exercise not only keeps you in shape, your skin starts glowing, your body functions at optimum levels, your immunity levels go up, your stamina improves and you do not fall prey to ailments like diabetes, heart disease, stress and high blood pressure. But before launching on your exercise programme please keep these rules in mind.

1. Always do as much exercise as your body permits. Do not overdo it.

2. If you are suffering from any serious disease or if you are a senior citizen then please consult your doctor before doing any exercise.

3. Always wear loose and comfortable clothes. Try to exercise on an empty stomach.

4. Do not exercise in an air-conditioned or a warm room, try to exercise outdoors, if possible.

5. Always do warming up exercises before doing the actual exercises.
